Jeannine Jordan
Jeannine’s first year of retirement was filled with adventure, including photographing ponies at Assateague Island and volunteering (twice) as a lighthouse keeper in a not-at-all-haunted Lake Michigan lighthouse. After being retired for two years, Jeannine had an unfinished first novel, was volunteering as a web designer and communications director for four local organizations, and was only partway through three different editing projects...and she still hadn’t cleaned her basement, a task that she’d said was a top priority when she retired.
Instead of cleaning her basement, she started working with Ken Rumbaugh to develop the Intentionally Thriving in Retirement program. Pulling together information from a variety of sources as well as her own training to create this program, Jeannine believes that Intentionally Thriving in Retirement can be the foundation of a fulfilling next chapter. Following the Intentionally Thriving in Retirement principles, Jeannine has found adventures and commitments that enhance her life, including starting piano lessons, working with a personal trainer to get in shape, and serving on both Lima City Council and the Lima Public Library Board of Trustees.
As a Certified Professional Coach, a former educator and technology coach, and as someone who enjoys deep conversations about important ideas and experiences, Jeannine is excited to talk with Ken's clients about how Intentionally Thriving can change their lives!
